However, despite this wealth of educational institutions, the country faces significant challenges in providing equal educational opportunities for all its citizens, as highlighted by its rankings in female literacy rates and the Education for All Development Index (EDI) in 2023.

In a country where obtaining higher education is a challenge even for regular children due to inflation, one might wonder about the plight of orphans. Despite the challenges posed by inflation, Pakistan Sweet Home remains a guiding light for orphaned children.

Pakistan Sweet Home is not just an ordinary orphanage where children merely survive; it's a home that ensures every child receives essential and affluent necessities akin to what a caring parent would provide. 

Under the guidance of Zamurrad Khan (Hilal-e-Imtiaz), lovingly referred to as "Papa Jani," Pakistan Sweet Home serves as a pillar of support and hope. He is determined in his mission to provide these children with extraordinary educational opportunities and a nurturing environment.

Our children are studying in prestigious institutions such as SZABIST (Institute of Science and Technology), Quaid-e-Azam University (Ranked among the best in Pakistan), Ayub Medical University, and TILS (Institute of Legal Studies), NUTECH, KMU, and NUST. Living in Pakistan Sweet Home, they always had the freedom to pursue their desired fields of study.

Zamurrad Khan (Hilal-e-Imtiaz) nurtured these little angels like seeds, and now they've grown into solid trees, providing shade for others, just like their Papa Jani. Beyond their studies, our university students are doing internships in reputable IT firms.

Additionally, they dedicate time after university to optimizing Sweet Home's operations. They assist our administration with tasks such as handling donations, managing visitors, organizing events, overseeing the admission process, and providing essential support to the organization.

Meet Muhammad Arsalan

 

"I am 20 years old and originally from Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. I have been living in Pakistan Sweet Home since 2009.

I completed my FSc from PSH Cadet College Sohawa, securing 80% marks. Currently, I am pursuing a BS degree in Cardiology at Khyber Medical University IHS Islamabad. My goal is to become a Cardiology Technologist.

In addition to my studies, I work with the PSH digital media team. This is my way of giving back to the organization that has supported and nurtured me throughout my life."

Meet Syed Husnain Ali Shah

 

"I am from Parachinar, and I've been living in Sweet Home since 2011. 

Alhamdulillah, I passed my FSc from Cadet College Sohawa with 86% marks. 

I am doing LLB 1st from The Institute of Legal Studies (TILS). 

In my free time, I love to read books. In the future, I aspire to become the Prime Minister of Pakistan."

In 2009, Zamurrad Khan took in several children who had been orphaned and abandoned by devastating floods and earthquakes. He gathered these children from diverse villages and provided them with a home-like environment now known as Pakistan Sweet Home. Initially he did not have a clear plan for their future, but he was determined to transform their lives and offer them the parental love they had lost.

Under his care, these children, now young adults, have flourished throughout these years. They received high-quality education and advanced healthcare and grew up in a nurturing environment. Today, they are the inspiring youth of Pakistan, equipped with the skills and knowledge to contribute positively to their country.

This remarkable transformation shows the importance of extending a helping hand to those in need around us. When one individual like Zamurrad Khan can transform lives, imagine the impact we could all have if we collectively supported deserving individuals who silently endure hardships.

The success story is not just about the achievements of a few individuals; it's about empowering youth to become agents of change. As Pakistan strides towards progress and development, it's crucial to enhance the potential of its young generation.
