What is the Papa Jani Scholarship?

The Papa Jani Scholarship, an initiative of Pakistan Sweet Home and Parwaaz, provides financial aid to orphan students to continue their education. Unlike Pakistan Sweet Home’s residential care, scholarship recipients live with their guardians while receiving support for their educational expenses.

The scholarship supports orphan students from Grade 6 through university, giving them an opportunity to continue their education and work toward a more secure and independent future.

What is Parwaaz?

Parwaaz helps impact organizations build digital and fundraising systems to scale their work. One of its flagship partnerships is the Papa Jani Scholarship Programme with Pakistan Sweet Home.

Through this partnership, Parwaaz manages the scholarship programme and supports its implementation, helping connect orphan students with educational opportunities and donors.

200 Students Already Benefiting

Over the past two years, the Papa Jani Scholarship has supported 200 students, helping them stay in school and work toward their academic and career goals. 

50,000 New Scholarships Announced

To reach more orphan children, the Papa Jani Scholarship has announced 50,000 new scholarships this year, opening educational opportunities for thousands more students and helping them build a brighter future.

5,000+ Applicants, 53 Students Awarded So Far

More than 5,000 students have applied for the Papa Jani Scholarship, showing the strong demand for educational support among orphan students. So far, 53 have been awarded, with the process still ongoing. Recipients study at different schools, colleges, and universities, including NUST, COMSATS, and Rawalpindi Medical College (RMC).

The Papa Jani Scholarship is more than financial assistance. It gives orphan students the chance to continue their education, pursue their ambitions, and build a future of their own.
