Shah Faisal was six months old when he lost his father. Today, he is an English Assistant Headmaster at Siddeeq Public School and a graduate of Quaid-i-Azam University.

A journey that began in a government school in Mardan, found a home at Pakistan Sweet Home, and led all the way to the Parliament of Pakistan.

A Difficult Start in Mardan

Shah Faisal’s family came from a humble background, and education was simply out of their reach. But he always wanted to study, so his mother enrolled him in a government school in Mardan, giving his dream a first chance.

In 2009, he joined Pakistan Sweet Home, Asia’s largest orphan care center, where his life took a positive turn.

Excelling in Education: From Cadet College Sohawa to Quaid-i-Azam University

Shah Faisal was always a brilliant child, attentive in class and among those who scored good grades.

In 2021, he completed his FSc at Pakistan Sweet Home Cadet College Sohawa. He then took admission to Quaid-i-Azam University for a BS degree in English and graduated with a very good CGPA.

A boy who once had no certainty he would even attend school was now a graduate of one of Pakistan's leading universities.

Speaking about his journey in an interview, Shah Faisal credited his Papa Jani, Zamurrad Khan, and thanked Pakistan Sweet Home for the opportunity he was given.

From a Village in Mardan to the Parliament of Pakistan

Education changed Shah Faisal's future. It also changed Shah Faisal himself.

The once-shy child became confident enough to later deliver a speech in the Parliament of Pakistan in front of the then President.

His teachers saw it happen. In the words of one of them:

"I've seen him transforming from a shy kid to a confident gentleman."

From Student to Teacher

After his studies, Shah Faisal started his career as a visiting lecturer at Midwest Institute of Sciences. Today he serves as the English Assistant Headmaster at Siddeeq Public School.

The boy who once sat in a classroom in Mardan, unsure of what his future held, now helps shape the futures of other students.

A Success Shared by Many

Shah Faisal's story is not just a success story of Pakistan Sweet Home. It is the success of every donor and volunteer who supported the cause and made his journey possible.

Help Write the Next Success Story

Shah Faisal is one of thousands of children supported by Pakistan Sweet Home, and every one of them has a story still being written.

Across Pakistan, there are so many brilliant children, but financial hardship stands between them and the next grade, degree, or opportunity. Through the Papa Jani Scholarship, Parwaaz and Pakistan Sweet Home are working to change that.

You can also be a part of this journey by sponsoring a child's education and give them the chance to keep learning.

Shah Faisal's journey began with people who believed in him. You can be that person for the next child.
