The passing out ceremony of the 4th batch at Pakistan Sweet Home Cadet College Sohawa was an event filled with pride, tradition, and joyous celebration. Commissioner Rawalpindi, Engineer Aamir Khattak, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, adding to the significance of the event.
Batch 04 consisted of 58 cadets, with a few who had been living in Pakistan Sweet Home for the last 12 years, making their graduation particularly poignant.
The day began with the arrival of esteemed guests, including DC Jhelum Syeda Ramla Ali, AC Suhawa Fazail Mudassar, DPO Jhelum Nasir Bajwa, and Chairman Pak Land Builders Maqsood Rahman. The cadets of Pakistan Sweet Home Cadet College Sohawa extended a warm and enthusiastic welcome to all the guests, demonstrating their discipline and hospitality.
Following the arrival, Commissioner Aamir Khattak greeted the cadets, who were lined up in immaculate formation. This inspection highlighted the cadets' discipline and the high standards maintained by the institution.
The ceremonial parade was a magnificent display of precision and coordination. Cadets marched with pride, showcasing the rigorous training they had undergone. The parade included saluting and drills, emphasizing the cadets' readiness to take on future challenges.
Our cadets will now take their board exams. Based on their academic results, they can choose to appear for the Army / Navy Air Force commission test or pursue a university education. There is no pressure on their decision, as they have complete freedom regarding their future.
As the parade concluded, the national anthem was played, and the national flag was hoisted. This solemn moment filled everyone with a sense of patriotism and pride.
Commissioner Aamir Khattak and other special guests recited Fatiha and laid flowers on the grave of the late Raja Ali Akbar. Raja Ali Akbar, who generously donated over 100 kanals of land to establish Sweet Home in Sohawa, holds a special place in our hearts forever.
A senior official of the cadet college delivered the welcome speech, introducing the guests and expressing gratitude for their presence. This set the tone for the rest of the ceremony, highlighting the achievements and milestones of the cadets.
Commissioner Aamir Khattak then took the stage to address the cadets. His speech was inspiring and filled with words of encouragement and advice for the young graduates.
He expressed his good wishes and assured Zamurrad Khan (Hilal-e-Imtiaz) of his full support for the institution's noble cause. In a generous gesture, he donated 10 lacs to Pakistan Sweet Home, reinforcing his commitment to the welfare and development of the cadets.
He stated, "We will ensure that the district administration division supports and facilitates you at each step. The noble work you are doing is commendable, and I appreciate your entire team—teachers and administration alike. I will be happy to see this Cadet College achieve even greater success in the future. If you need any help, let me know. InshaaAllah, we are here to support you fully. All the officers present today will back you completely."
The cadets then took an oath of allegiance and commitment, a solemn moment that symbolized their dedication to duty and country. Following this, the cadets received their graduation certificates and rank insignias, marking their official transition from cadets to graduates.
A significant highlight of the event was the inauguration of the Archery Club by Commissioner Aamir Khattak. This new facility aims to provide cadets with training in archery, guided by skilled instructors with vast working experience in the armed forces.
The cake-cutting celebration added a festive touch to the ceremony. This joyful event marked the cadets' passing out and fostered a spirit of unity and celebration among the students and guests.
The ceremony concluded with closing remarks, a final march-past by the cadets, and heartfelt thanks to the guests for their presence. Group photographs with the guests captured the memorable moments of the day.

Since 2019, four batches have successfully graduated from our college, marking a significant milestone for Pakistan Sweet Home. We are immensely proud of this achievement and remain committed to working for the welfare of orphans.
