Everything You Need to Know About Parvaaz
This page explains the full Parvaaz Scholarship Program — who we are, how we select scholars, what we cover, and how the program works from application to graduation.
Pakistan Sweet Home runs residential centers that are home to over 2,000 orphan children across Pakistan. But there are hundreds of thousands more we cannot house.
Parvaaz is our answer.
We find bright orphan students who are already enrolled in schools and universities across Pakistan — and we remove the one thing standing between them and their future: the cost of education.
We do not house them. We fund them.
Parvaaz is a joint program by Pakistan Sweet Home — Asia's largest registered orphanage NGO, founded by Zamurrad Khan, recipient of the Hilal-e-Imtiaz.
Who Is This For?
Parvaaz is for orphan students who:
- Have lost their father
- Are enrolled in 9th grade or above — or in university
- Scored 80% or more in their last exam
- Are Pakistani citizens
Applications are open all year. There is no deadline.
Every rupee of the following is covered
Tuition fees
paid directly to your school or university
Books and stationery
reimbursed against receipts
Exam and board fees
paid every year
University admission fees
covered at point of admission
All payments go directly to your institution. No cash is ever handed to the student or guardian. Every transaction is documented.
We do not select on grades alone
We use a 100-point scoring system.
Why? A student scoring 83% in a village school with no tutor and a widowed mother is more exceptional than a 90% student with every resource available. This system ensures every application is judged fairly.
Every application goes through 5 stages
- 1
Stage 1
Application Review
We check that all documents are complete and the student meets the basic eligibility criteria.
- 2
Stage 2
Verification
Our team verifies the death certificate, result card, and contacts your references by phone.
- 3
Stage 3
Scoring and Shortlisting
Every verified application is scored against our 100-point matrix. Top candidates are called for interview.
- 4
Stage 4
Interview
A short interview conducted at the nearest PSH center or via video call. We want to understand who you are — not just your marks.
- 5
Stage 5
Final Selection
Our Scholarship Committee reviews the full file and makes the final decision. Offer letters are issued within 5 weeks of application.
Parvaaz is a partnership
We commit to you — and we ask you to commit back.
Maintain your grades
Keep 80% or above every year. If you are going through a difficult time, come to us. We review every case personally before making any decision.
Submit your result every year
Once your result is announced, send it to us along with your next fee challan. That is all we need to keep your payments going.
Share your story
Once a year we may ask for a photo or a short video. Your story inspires the next scholar and helps us raise the funds to keep this program running. We will always ask your permission before publishing anything.
How Long Does the Scholarship Last?
From the day you are selected until the day you complete your degree. There is no time limit. As long as you meet the conditions, Parvaaz is with you.
Here is exactly how the payment process works
- 1You submit your result card and fee challan to our Scholar Relations Officer
- 2Our team verifies the documents within 3 to 5 working days
- 3A cheque is raised directly in the name of your institution
- 4Payment is made within 10 working days of verification
- 5You are notified by WhatsApp once payment is done
No cash. No delays. No complications.

- What the scholar commits to in return
- The process for performance reviews
- Conditions for continuation or termination
- Consent for use of the scholar's story in PSH communications
You will receive the full agreement to review before signing. Guardians co-sign on behalf of students under 18.
