We are excited to introduce a new addition to our initiatives, the Abdul Mussawar & Maskeena Jan multi-purpose complex. This endeavor is significant in expanding our hostel facilities to accommodate more children in our Cadet College, Sohawa – the world's first cadet college for orphans.
On September 6th, 2023, we marked a momentous occasion with the groundbreaking ceremony for a multi-purpose building for the cadets of the Sohawa campus. The complex will encompass an expansive area of approximately 90 kanal and will have the capacity to house 448 new cadets. With an estimated cost of around PKR 40 crore, we are optimistic about completing this project within 1.5 years.
Once completed, the complex will offer a wide range of amenities to enhance our cadets' living and recreational opportunities. These amenities include a gym, a spacious dining hall, a dedicated prayer area, a game room, a well-equipped kitchen, a badminton court, and a table tennis court.
For the grand inauguration ceremony, we had the privilege of hosting the Speaker of the National Assembly, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, as our esteemed chief guest. The cadets warmly welcomed him, honoring him with a parade drill and showcasing their karate training skills.
Addressing the opening ceremony, he remarked, “Zamurrad Khan has taken on the task of caring for the most vulnerable in humanity. Allah takes what He wills from him. Today, our nation requires unity. Pakistan is currently grappling with a hybrid conflict. Nations encounter hardships, and it is through patience and perseverance that we overcome them. Pakistan is not lacking in any way; together, we must progress. Those who care for destitute and orphaned children achieve a noble purpose.”
Following the ceremony, our CEO, Pakistan Sweet Home, accompanied Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on a tour of our campus. He explored our various facilities, including the mosque, classrooms, hostels, medical care unit, cafeteria, and other essential amenities. During the visit, the Speaker also paid his respects at the grave of Raja Ali Akbar, the generous individual who donated over 100 kanal of land for the noble cause of Cadet College Sohawa.

His generous support has touched every facet of our work, and his deep connection with our children is evident through his frequent visits.
