The Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP), in collaboration with the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), has introduced a fantastic new way to explore the tourist destinations of Rawalpindi and Islamabad: the double-decker sightseeing bus.
This service allows you to journey to discover the historical and tourist attractions in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Tourists can now explore renowned spots such as the iconic Faisal Mosque, the enchanting Marghzar Zoo, the picturesque Daman-e-Koh viewpoint, the fragrant Rose & Jasmine Garden, the majestic Constitution Avenue, the fascinating Lok Virsa museum, the lively Cricket Stadium, the informative Pakistan Museum of Natural History, and the scenic Shakarparian.

The kids couldn't contain their excitement for a weekend adventure that awaited them after a week of hard work at school. Most of our children come from various corners of Pakistan and have never had the chance to explore Islamabad before. To make the trip enjoyable, we pampered them with refreshments like juice, chips, and chocolates. The ride was comfortable and safe, and we received warm hospitality from the staff. They also offered special discounts as a sweet surprise for the Pakistan Sweet Home children.
Islamabad has been making quite a name for itself as a must-visit tourist destination in recent years. With its lush greenery and nearby mountains, the capital city has a unique charm and allure. Before the adventure began, the CEO, Zamurrad Khan, shared heartfelt words with the children. He recalled his school trips during his childhood and emphasized the importance of such educational experiences. He promised the kids he would arrange trips to other cities, encouraging them to discover and love their beautiful country.
Upon inquiring with the double-decker service authorities, we learned they plan to launch more buses soon to expand tourism to other cities such as Jhelum, Chakwal, and Attock. These places boast stunning landscapes with lakes and have immense potential for tourism development.
