A remarkable event unfolded in the peaceful halls of Serena Hotel Islamabad on the auspicious morning of March 16th. It brought together hearts filled with compassion and generosity.

The venue, adorned with grace and hospitality, esteemed Pakistan Sweet Home Cadets welcomed all the guests. Their presence added a touch of inspiration to the gathering. Graciously sponsored by Serena, the event unfolded with the support of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce.

Sehri event started with the recitation of the Quran by one of our students of BDS Ayub Medical College Abbottabad, Asmat Ullah. University students shared their successful stories, then the senior vice president of the Chamber of Commerce shared his story of how he became part of Pakistan Sweet Home to the audience.

As the Vice President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce aptly stated, “I've heard about Pakistan Sweet Home for the last 10 to 15 years, but it wasn't until last year that I had the opportunity to personally meet Mr. Zamurrad Khan (Hilal-e-Imtiaz) at their headquarters in Islamabad. Seeing the confidence and behavior of the children firsthand, as well as the living conditions and environment provided to them, I became a fan.”

The highlight of the evening was the mesmerizing Qawwali performance by Aziz Miya, son of the renowned Qawwal Imran Aziz. He captivated hearts before the fundraising pledge commenced. With respected guests such as Sana Hammayun, Mufti Qawi, Engineer Azhar-ul-Islam, Nadeem Chand and the highly respected CEO of Pakistan Sweet Home, Zamurrad Khan (Hilal-e-Imtiaz), the event showed unity and kindness.

With over 500 compassionate souls gathered, including the cherished children of Sweet Homes. The evening culminated in a splendid Sehri feast, where attendees savored both the food and the spirit of giving. The overwhelming success of the fundraising pledge surpassed all expectations, reviving the belief in the innate goodness of humanity.

As the event drew to a close, with the Qawwali's melodies still in the air and the smell of Sehri lingering, people felt thankful and hopeful. The CEO Zamurrad Khan (Hilal-e-Imtiaz) expressed gratitude to Serena and the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce. He wrapped the evening in the following appreciation words,
“I am thankful to the management of Serena Hotel, the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce, and all the donors and supporters gathered here today. Pakistan Sweet Home is truly a miracle of God, and I humbly acknowledge that I have no role in it. I have made a personal commitment to educate and raise the children of Pakistan Sweet Home even better than my own children at home.”
